The Hecate Incense, one of the most demanded we have, has been made following an ancient recipe reconstructed by etnologist and researcher Christian Rätsch. It is a herbal blend composed of storax, olibanum, laurel, hemlock, henbane, coriander, myrrh and Syrian rue. It is meant to be used to carry out workings related to Hecate, goddess of witchcraft and keeper of the Crossroads.
This incense was born out of the need of some practitioners to deal with the Dark goddess of witchcraft in a way that may please her. It is necessary to remark that this incense contains a series of banes related to her because of their rather poisonous nature: hemlock, henbane, Syrian Rue. These herbs are marvelous spirits, but their power may sometimes put us in danger at the same time, so when dealing with this mixture we advise a lot of caution and self observation.
This incense mixture is always prepared during the dark moon phase and it is advisable to be used only by nigh, as an offering or as a way to connect with the powers of the Dark aspect of the feminine principle. Made according to the principles of Verdant Gnosis and the Poison Path.
